In celebration this week:
- Marcus Schneider will play an arrangement of his own for a prelude, “Now Thank We All Our God” arr. by Marcus Schneider
- Rev. Ben Daniel will welcome everyone to Celebration
- Lin Gentry will lead the Call to Celebration, (from World Council of Churches)
- the opening hymn will be “Now thank We All Our God”,
- next Lin will lead us in the Prayer for Renewal, (World Council of Churches)
- Time with Children follows,
- then invitations
- then the MPC Choir will perform “It Is Well With My Soul”, Poem by Horatio Spafford; music by Philip Bliss; arr. John Ness Beck
- Lin will read from 1 Peter 3:13-22
- then Ben will offer a sermon,
- the Hymn of Response will be “Rejected and Despised”,
- Prayers of the People are next,
- followed by passing the offering plates; Marcus will play an offertory: “Rêverie”

- the closing hymn will be “Trust in God”,
- we will recite the Charge together
- there will be a benediction

The Charge (say together) Go out into the world in peace. Have courage; hold on to what is good. Return no one evil for evil. Strengthen the faint-hearted, support the weak, and help the suffering. Honor all people. Care for Creation. Love and serve God, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.
