Montclair Presbyterian Church takes to heart the biblical imperative to feed the hungry and shelter the homeless. If you’re interested in taking part in this crucial work, please contact Debra Stastny; her contact information is available from the MPC main office.
Our current actions
The Food and Shelter Committee works to feed the people of Oakland and support the development of housing for all. During these times, we continue to feed people through our pantry groceries and with hot meals.
The committee contributes monthly to CAPC’s Friday night dinners. Every 3rd Friday of each month a group of MPC’ers cook a total of 72 burritos, 36 desserts & provide 80 bags of tortilla chips.
