Don’t forget to set your clocks ahead for Daylight Savings Time. Everyone who gets to the church on time will be treated to Pastor Ben’s “profoundly heretical” sermon, which he is quite proud of. We’re sure it will be fantastic.

Today we welcome Rev. Elisabeth Middelberg, former chaplain at Piedmont Gardens, as our guest preacher. Rev Ben will be leading a retreat at Mission San Antonio.

This week, we will be treated to a very special performance of the Magnificat, with our choir, organ, and guest strings, in lieu of a sermon by Ben. If you are coming in person, please remember to wear your mask inside the sanctuary.

It’s the second Sunday in Advent, honoring Love. After celebration, please stay to vote on the nominating committee.

This Sunday we will have an MPC-style spin on Egyptian, Persian, Greco-Roman and Hebrew Mythologies and spiritual traditions that shaped how Christians understand what it means for Christ to reign.

It’s Remembrance Sunday. When you come to celebration, please bring a photo or memento for the ofrenda, and together we’ll celebrate the great communion of saints, which includes our loved ones now past.

Today’s guest preacher will be Michael Galvan, a Roman Catholic Priest who happens to be of Ohlone and Coast Miwok ancestry. After celebration Fr. Galvan will be leading us in a conversation about his experiences growing up Ohlone/Miwok in the Bay Area.

This Sunday in the sanctuary we will have a segment of the removed bridge on display. After celebration, please join the staffing conversation as we decide how best to fill Talitha’s vacant position.
