In celebration this week:
- Kim Rankin will play a prelude, Sonata in E minor by Domenico Scarlatti (1685 -1757)
- Rev. Ben Daniel will welcome everyone to Celebration
- Next, Deborah Dille will lead us in the Call to Celebration (using “Dawn from on High” by Martin Wroe)
- the opening hymn will be “God of Compassion, in Mercy Befriend Us”,
- next Deborah will lead the Prayer for Peace (using “Give Us This Day” by Martin Wroe)
- Time with Children is next
- Invitations will be presented
- The Special Music will be “Where Have all the Flowers Gone?”, by Pete Seeger and Joe Hickerson, performed by Ben Daniel, Steve McKiernan, and Andrew Newell
- Deborah will read from scripture: Matthew 13:24-30
- Ben will deliver a sermon,

- followed by passing the offering plates; the offertory will be “There is a Balm in Gilead”, African-American spiritual, arr. Bradley Sowash

- we will recite the Charge together
- a benediction will be offered
- followed by a postlude
The Charge (say together) Go out into the world in peace. Have courage; hold on to what is good. Return no one evil for evil. Strengthen the faint-hearted, support the weak, and help the suffering. Honor all people. Care for Creation. Love and serve God, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.
