On Friday, October 21st from 6:30-8:00pm, Montclair Presbyterian Church will host an in-person Mayoral candidate form. The event will also be recorded; a link to the recording will be provided to those that pre-register via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/oakland-mayoral-forum-tickets-440141965467.
The following candidates have been invited to the forum:
- Ignacio DeLaFuente
- Treva Reid
- Loren Taylor
- Sheng Thao
The mayoral candidates will be asked to provide in-depth specifics about their plans and solutions to address crime and homelessness in Oakland. The candidates invited (see image below) to present at the forum were selected based on feedback from community members. The opportunity to meet and mingle with the candidates, after the presentation portion, will occur outside in the church’s courtyard.
You may submit a question in your Eventbrite registration. Questions may also be submitted in person at the event. All submitted questions will be distributed to the candidates for follow-up either via their websites or directly after the forum.
Masks are optional but recommended. Parking is very limited so please plan accordingly.
