  • Marcia will open the celebration with a prelude that is a setting of the Beethoven tune we know as “Joyful,
  • Joyful, We Adore Thee”;
  • Talitha will welcome us,
  • Sarah High, of Mount Dora, Florida will call us to celebration. Sarah is Kim Rankin’s mother, and she has been joining us in celebration each week during the COVID-19 season of sheltering in place;
  • The first hymn is, “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee”;
  • Jim Allardice will lead us in a prayer for peace;
  • Stephen Warren will read Philippians 4:4-9;
  • I will preach a sermon on the need to find spiritual strength in difficult times;
  • The special music is “Stand By Me”, by Rev. Charles A. Tindley, arr. Kim Rankin
  • Talitha will lead us in a pastoral prayer;
  • The closing hymn is “Guide Me O, Thou Great Jehovah”; and
  • I will close the service with a family life video.

The Charge (say together) Go out into the world in peace. Have courage; hold on to what is good. Return no one evil for evil. Strengthen the faint-hearted, support the weak, and help the suffering. Honor all people. Love and serve God, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.
