If you haven’t seen this exhibit yet, now is the time! This is the last weekend for this unique exhibit.
The exhibit is open to the public noon – 4pm this Friday and Saturday.
MPC is thrilled to announce that the Interfaith Art Exhibit is now accepting Art Proposals through our very easy to use online submission form until August 20, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Submissions are FREE.
The Interfaith Art Exhibit is an ongoing program of the Faith Trio, a partnership consisting of Montclair Presbyterian Church, Kehilla Community Synagogue, and the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California. The Trio also takes part in other activities together, including volunteering at food banks and hosting the Interfaith Harvest Dinner.
The theme of the exhibition is “Collaboration and Connection” in which we aim to encourage artists to connect with other artists and collaboratively create artwork for the exhibition. We are seeking artwork that expresses a commitment to interfaith understanding, coexistence, peace, and cultural dialogue.
Artists from all faiths and cultures are invited to participate.
All artists at any level and with any style are encouraged to submit artwork.

This exhibition builds on the success of an inaugural Interfaith Art Exhibition in Fall 2011 “Diverse Visions of Harmony”, “Finding Common Ground through Sacred Words” in May 2013, and “We Are the Bridge” in May 2015 featuring a total of over 200 artists. The exhibition is sponsored by the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California, Montclair Presbyterian Church, and Kehilla Community Synagogue (forming the Faith Trio*) in partnership with Ziya Art Center and Islamic Art Exhibit and it expresses their commitment to the arts and to interfaith relationship building.
