Welcome to MPC’s final summer Celebration as we gather in person and online to hear Rev. Ben preach on “Read With New Eyes.”

This Sunday, Pastor Ben and a group of your fellow congregants will be at Mission San Antonio. Katie Kilby will be preaching the celebration, the choir will be singing – it will be a good Sunday to worship at Montclair Presbyterian church.

This week in Celebration, Ben will preach on “It All Matters to God,” we’ll celebrate communion, and we’ll hear the fabulous Barrelhouse Jazz Band!

This week’s service will include a sermon on Jesus’ message of radical equality, and we’ll have wonderful music and time for prayer. After celebration we will have a luncheon barbeque together. During the barbeque we’ll have opportunities to share and to learn about some of the different kinds of work MPC is doing.

Celebration this week features a solo by one of the Pacific Boychoir Academy’s finest, plus Pastor Ben’s sermon, “People are More Important Than Rules”!

This week, Ben’s sermon will tackle the difficult question of when it is appropriate to create friction and division. Perhaps this webpage may be the appropriate place to mention that I’ve got a lot of problems with you people!
