After two years of research and planning, the Montclair Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the installation of 66 new solar panels on the roof of its facilities. The panels were dedicated during the Sunday worship service on November 2nd.

3 pm on Sunday, November 2^nd will be the start of an afternoon of enchantment, temptation, and general treachery, that is, as long as you join us for Bewitched, a fundraising concert at MPC featuring music from a wide spectrum of musical genres.  Patrice Kirkish and Anne Daniel will be sharing selections from the operas Carmen by Bizet, The Magic Flute by Mozart, Norma by Bellini, Jeanne d’Arc by Tchaikovsky, and Midsummer Night’s Dream by Britten.

MPC TO HOST HARVEST DINNER & PROGRAM, October 25, Saturday, 5:30-8:30, Family Room. Mark your calendar for this decade-old, pot-luck annual gathering of the three Faith Trio congregations.

In celebration this Sunday (September 21) we will focus on the relationship between peacemaking and caring for the earth.

MPC practices a longstanding tradition of “kicking off” the year in September with a festive celebration and church-wide lunch. Every year the fun happens differently, but you can expect to share a table with people you may not know, to have fun conversations on different topics, and to sample a wide variety of delicious potluck dishes. Each table must cooperate and play a game together to earn their dessert.

Monday, September 29th at 7pm, authors Paul Williams and Tracey Jackson will be at MPC discussing their new book “Gratitude and Trust: Six Affirmations That Will Change Your Life”. The book is drawn from Paul’s experience of twenty-four years in the recovery movement and Tracey’s daily quest for peace amid the difficulties of daily life.
