This week’s service marks the beginning of what I hope will be our last full month of pre-recorded celebration. Starting in June we will be worshiping in person in the courtyard. More details about that will be available once they are worked out, but if California’s low COVID numbers continue, we should be back together in person soon. The services will be modified to fit the strictest public health precautions, and we will continue to provide an opportunity to watch them online, but we are certainly looking forward to gathering in person in the near future.

- John Lochner will lead us in a call to celebration from his home in Texas,
- The opening hymn, “God Is Here!”, is accompanied by a slideshow of photos from our online Celebrations,
- Debbie Fallehy will bless our May birthdays,
- Susanne Lea will lead us in a prayer for peace,
- Lynn Viale will read Acts 8:26-40 from her garden in Gilroy,
- I will preach a sermon called “Good Grace”,
- Special music, “Let us Break Bread Together”, is provided by Kim Rankin
- Jim Allardice will lead us in the sacrament of Holy Communion,
- The closing hymn is “I Was There to Hear Your Borning Cry”, and
- I will lead us in a family life video.
The Charge (say together) Go out into the world in peace. Have courage; hold on to what is good. Return no one evil for evil. Strengthen the faint-hearted, support the weak, and help the suffering. Honor all people. Love and serve God, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.
