The Art Gang

The Art Gang is a loosely organized group of individuals whose main purpose is to bring people together to make art or to see, discuss, and share art. It meets twice a year (January and July) to discuss possible monthly “outings” in the greater Bay Area to galleries, museums, artist workshops, and related places. Occasionally an art-related movie is shown in the Thornhill Room. On rare occasions there has been an overnight or weekend trip.

While the Art Gang encourages people to do art and has some very artistic members, it is not a group of artists. It is OPEN TO ALL; artistic talent is NOT required of members, only a willingness to enjoy art with others.

For those with artistic talent who would like to display their drawings, paintings, photographs or other artworks, Room 10 at the church is used as a gallery space.

Art Gang happenings are posted in Contact and The Bulletin a week or two in advance.
