WE ARE THE BRIDGE – AN INTERFAITH ART EXHIBIT – coordinated by The Faith Trio. FREE OPENING RECEPTION: Sunday, September 18 @1PM. This exhibit showcases over 30 artists from multiple faith traditions, the majority of whom live and work in the Bay Area. The artwork selected reflects the theme of bridge-building: between faiths as well as from conflict to resolution and reconciliation.
These artworks were originally included in the 3rd Interfaith Art Biennial, coordinated by The Faith Trio, an Oakland-based interfaith coalition comprised of Kehilla Community Synagogue, Montclair Presbyterian Church, and the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California, that has collaborated on a variety of community-building activities over the past thirteen years.
